I have had a revelation though, as it relates to my serious fear/frustration of painting on a canvas...
I have been beating myself up about not workin on canvas because somehow, I felt that once I started, I had to finish in the sitting...crazy I know, but that was just stuck in my head...Start today, finish with a bang...today!!!
I was druving myself nuts with "the pressure", then, it just dawned on me...I don't have to have all of the ideas ready and done in one sitting...kudos if I do...but a canvas can take weeks, right???
So, heres a start
Its a start, and it now sits on my easel to wait as I take some time to let it grow...and figure out what needs to happen next...sure is a lot less frustration that way...
Until next time,
Ophelia

What a great breakthrough! I too have large canvas anxiety so I can relate. I love the start you gotten, wonderful colors.
And thank you for the sweet comment that I just saw - I'm definitely having fun!
Time slips far too fast, that's how September got away from you! Thanks so much for dropping by my little spot in the blog-o-sphere, I hope you'll consider joining the ATC swap!
And, that canvas is going to be so much fun, I can already tell!!!
You know if i remember right the Great Masters took YEARS to do some of their paintings didn't they?? No time limit! Just enjoy yourself! Hugs! deb

Great journal spreads and I love the first layer of your canvas. I shall come back to see how it progresses. it's funny how we put ourselves under pressure, isn't it?!
