I hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful weekend. Here in my corner of the world, the weather is simply perfect. Sunny, just the right breeze, perfect weather for....baseball....sigh.
In my studio, things have been going amuck....that canvas that was not speaking to me last week, has decided to turn its back and invite friends....
I added some collage(photots of houses that I found), and painted, and painted some more...all the while waiting for something to strike me....anything....and, I painted and painted and waited some more.....which is when I decided to take a break and begin something else....now, they are both giving a girl the silent treatment....painting on canvas is HARD!!!
So, back to my trusty journal I go....here, she speaks to me freely!
Remember last week I showed my studio as a cleaning work in progress.....here is one side of my work table...I sure wish it were that clean today!!!!
Enjoy a truly beautiful Sunday everyone. I am off to baseball...sigh....
Until next time,
Ophelia

Ophelia, I love, love this canvas!
These both look great! but I do understand when they aren't speaking to you. I would suggest painting them like you do in your journal, I know its hard, but it has helped me in the past.
Enjoy the day
Hi Ophelia!! This (vacation) week certainly has gone quickly! I didnt clean as much as I should have or could have, as noted by the horrible fact that I cannot find my stamp carving tools ANYWHERE. I am just livid. Are those all markers you own??!! Ah! Your paintings look wonderful to me! I love your house collage, too. And, your journal page, wow! Just intriguing words...thought provoking. I like that... Have a terrific Sunday, Ophelia, and a good week.
Hey Ophelia, I agree with Lisa D (above), you have some really great starts to your two paintings! I'm sending you my Best Voodoo Inspiration Vibes ...
Oh hang in there those canvases will make their voices known, I love where you are with both of them. And I have a serious case of supply envy :-)
Ophelia, I love how your canvases look. Your painting and layers are giving them much depth. One day, yes one day, they will certainly speak to you. And I adore your journaling.
Thanks again for your visit to my blog.
Angel blessings,
Wendy
