I am truly loving every single minute of Summer of Color!! This weeks color combination was Sage and Sepia... Read about it here: http://twinkletwinklelikeastar.blogspot.com/
I had a blast doing this page and using these colors together...just so rich, and such an old feel! Loved every single minute of it!!
So, here is my page...
My journal is getting so thick it seems quite hard to scan well, but here it is! Having these challenges have been such a treat because my muse seems to be else where!! I have no idea what is going on with me, but, I am just DRY! Now that I am on summer vacation, I have all of the time in the world to create, and well, NOTHING!! So, if you have seen my muse out there...romping around having a great time...will you please ask her to come home....she is desparately needed!!
So, hope that you all are enjoying your Monday. We just returned from Tennessee...late last night. Big new though...
We won the whole thing!!! World Series Champions!! Talk about an amazing experience! This is something my son will never ever forget!
I have tons of pictures to share...so that will have to be a totally different post. I told my husband as we were leaving that I could totally get into the baseball mom thing....then, I remembered the 100 degree heat they usually play in, and well, I'm over it now...
Until next time,
Ophelia

lovely page fro the last SOC challenge. And congrats on the big win!
Wow, Ophelia! Congrats to your son and to you all as his helpful family!!! That's incredible. I'm sure your muse will return now that the baseball season ended and you can focus on other things!! This sage and sepia piece sure looks great! How did you get it done so fast?! I played around in my art journal throughout the day today...but not sure I'm done. So glad you joined Kristin's Summer of Color! K
Love your art, great use of the colours this week. And congrats to your son. :)
First, congratulations go to your son and his team. Very impressive.
Second, it looks like your muse came around just about the time she was needed to complete the SOC weekly challenge. After all, this is a gorgeous entry in your journal.
And finally (third), when I am stuck, I either visit blogs I admire, OR I clean and organize my craft supplies. I usually find something I had forgotten I had, and it sparks a memory of why I wanted it in the first place. That usually kick starts my creativity again. If not, at least I have a clean and organized room!!
I know the feeling so well, and you expressed it beautifully, in spite of your absent Muse - maybe ours are off Thelma and Louising it together!
I'm so happy for your son, and you too, what an exciting experience!

(And that's wonderful! Congratulations)
