How Not To Start Your Work Week...

Happy Saturday blog world...
I hope you guys are all having a wonderful start to you weekend...
I wanted to let you know where I have been since I haven't posted in a while... This is a little lesson in how not to start your work week....

On Monday morning just as I was heading out the door for work, it snapped...and ouch, oh ouch it was...my back that is. I don't know what I did wrong and can't even explain it, but out of nowhere, it felt as though I was being stabbed with something...so, I started my work week in bed...flat....and that is where I have been since then. To add insult to injury, my art supplies are up a flight of stairs....now, we're in trouble!!!
I spent a great deal of time watching Youtube videos, and as I have mentioned before RachO113 is incredbile. She does the most amazing mixed media pieces....and has incredible haul (shopping videos) to let you know of where she gets all of her goods!! So, for days, I have been watching YouTube and being delightfully entertained by Rachel...and adding goods to wishlists all over the WORLD!! At one point, I seriously thought I had searched the entire internet....
I think it was Wednesday, I got some journal down and finished some pages that had been started at my demo at Jerrys this past Sunday....
My demo was on color mixing really, and when I get back up to get my workhorse journal, I will show you all of the colors that I was able to create....
I hope you all enjoy the start to your weekend...over here, its still slow going, mainly flat on my back, with a serious case of bed hair!!
Until next time,
Ophelia

Ophelia, I'm so sorry you put your back out! That is so painful, I know as I have put mine out MANY times! The only thing you can do is rest so I'm glad you are doing that!
I am glad you got some journaling in, it is really hard to just lay there and do nothing! My hubbub put a tv in our room with all my chick flicks so that I can at least watch movies, but when you are a creative person you also need to be doing something with your hands right? Ah, I will pray for quick healing for you dear friend.
Hugs and many blessings to you.

I have been where you are now and understand how you feel. I have to be very careful everyday, cause out of the blue, my back will go out! The Doc's say muscle spasms. Take care. Love your pages!

Ouch!--this is probably the toughest thing to go through. You feel fine, but you can't move--It's good that you could journal a bit and visit people on the net. I am definitely going to check out the you tube link--Thanks!!and feel better!

I am so excited that you want to make an inspiration/vision board with me.......I have decided to make 3 different ones....What kind of vision board are you going to make? I am using poster boards and I have started cutting out images and works from magazines.....I can't wait.....I love the idea of having a visual reminder of all of the things I want to accomplish.......

Oh nooooo :-( Poor you. Hope you get better really fast. Still, I suppose you did get to watch youtube instead of going to work - every cloud has a silver lining!

Oh Poor Baby! I'm so sorry ... hope you are feeling much better by now. I know very well how much an injured back can slow you down to a literal crawl! Take good care of yourself.
